Scholarships Details:
The University of Kent is offering PhD research scholarships to international students who wants to pursue a PhD program in the field of social psychology and politics.
Scholarships will be offered at the standard UK Research Councils’ rate and administered under the Graduate Teaching Assistant Scheme
This scholarship program is worth £14,553 and it will be awarded to successful applicants.
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a good Honours degree (First or 2i) or a Master’s degree at merit or distinction in a relevant subject or equivalent.
The scholarship competition is open to all new postgraduate research applicants.
Current Kent research students are not eligible for this scholarship.
UK, EU and overseas fee paying students are invited to apply.
Please note that overseas students must have the appropriate documentation to evidence eligibility to work in the UK.
How to Apply
Interested and eligible applicants are required to provide the below documents during application:
- A current CV
- Submission of a covering letter (one or two pages) detailing why you are interested in the project and your unique contribution to the research. The letter should also provide details about your ability and motivation to teach. The covering letter can either be uploaded to the KentVision PhD application or sent directly to psypgadmissions@kent.ac.uk.
- A transcript of degree undergraduate and postgraduate marks to date and certificate, if completed
- The names and email addresses of two academic referees. referees can send their letter of recommendation directly to psypgadmissions@kent.ac.uk via their professional email account.References must also be received on 28th April 2017.
